Our History & Identity

Founded in 1913, St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Spring Valley, New York, has been a spiritual home and a cornerstone of the Ukrainian-American community for over a century. We are a dedicated parish of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, fully adhering to the Byzantine-Ukrainian rite while remaining in full communion with the Holy See.

As a parish under the canonical jurisdiction of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Stamford, we are committed to preserving our rich spiritual heritage, liturgical traditions, and the Ukrainian identity that has defined us since our founding.

Our Mission

The mission of St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church is to provide a sacred space for worship, spiritual growth, and community service. Like other Catholic religious non-profit organizations, our purpose is to:

• Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the beauty of the Byzantine liturgy.

• Foster a vibrant faith community rooted in Christian love, compassion, and prayer.

• Provide pastoral care and support to our parishioners and the broader community in Spring Valley.

Legal & Non-Profit Status

St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church is a registered religious non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of New York. In alignment with the mission of the Catholic Church and the Eparchy of Stamford, we operate exclusively for religious, educational, and charitable purposes. All contributions directly support our ministry, the maintenance of our historic parish, and our service to those in need.
